Normally, children receive their First Reconciliation and First Communion during the second grade. Call the office at 352-1060 to sign up. If nobody answers, leave a message on extension 104. Second grade classes are on Sunday mornings from 9:45 until 11:15. To receive First Communion, your child must have been baptized.
If your child is between the second and seventh grade and needs First Communion, have them attend the Religious Education for their grade. Notify the teacher that your child needs First Communion and we will schedule special classes. They will receive First Communion in the spring. Third grade asnd fourth grades attend class on Sunday mornings from 9:45 until 11:15. Fifth through 7th grades attend class on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30.
If your child is in the eighth grade, have them attend the Confirmation class. They will receive First Communion during that time. Confirmation classes are on Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 pm.
